Seasonal Food Service Manager

Would you like to put smiles on our campers faces and give our campers yummy, nutritious meals?

Camp Victory is seeking a Part-time, Seasonal Food Service Manager!

$20/hour starting pay for the person with the right experience!

The Food Service Manager oversees a kitchen operation that serves Camp Victory campers, volunteers, families, and staff at summer camp (June, July, and August), weekend camping (fall, winter, spring), and special events. This person serves as the primary food service leader who receives menus from our partner camps, orders food, prepares and serves meals, supervises staff, and manages the kitchen/dining environment, with the goal of providing nutritious, appealing, and appropriate food for up to 180 plates per meal. This person is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing food service operations. The Food Service Manager is a key member of a team serving Camp Victory.

Qualifications include:

* FBI fingerprint clearance

* Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record clearance

* Pennsylvania Child Abuse History clearance

* Serve-Safe Certification

* At least 21 years of age

* Excellent Supervisory Skills

* Ability to relate well to others

* Previous experience in food service

Nature Center Intern

Qualifications:

* Interest and/or experience in environmental education

* Comfortable working with a diverse population of special needs children

* Willing to develop educational resources to accommodate educational needs of young people

* Must have/ or able to obtain current state and federal clearances required by Camp Victory

*Covid 19 Vaccination Required

Responsibilities:

* Work 36-40hours on flexible schedule with occasional evening or weekend hours

* Provide education programs to young campers and local school children

* Explore resources from 130 acres of fields, forests and wetlands

* Other duties as required
