Camp Victory will host the third annual A Night in Nature, Saturday, Nov. 2 from 6 to 8 pm to benefit programs at Camp Victory. Register online now!
This one of a kind evening is casual and will be hosted in the Nature Center, where wine, cheese, hors d’ oeuvres will be served. Weather permitting, guests can also enjoy s’mores around a campfire and desserts in Uncle Walter’s Treehouse.
The highlight of the event is a unique silent auction which features special and rare artwork by Camp Victory’s campers. This year’s auction includes a small replica of a large canvas prepared by Camp Dost’s attendees this summer. Attendees will also have a chance to bid on a private cocktail party catered by Sue Oberchirker, a volunteer who has played a pivotal role in Camp Victory’s history.
The event will also feature wine tastings from Shade Mountain and Benigna’s Creek wineries; cheese from Fonterra, Inc.; desserts by Sue Oberchirker; and jazz courtesy of the Steve Adams Trio. Other items in the auction include merchandise and gift certificates donated by other local merchants, including J. Lylo Jewelers, Venus Day Spa, O’Donnell Winery and Walker’s Jewelers, and artistan and long-time Camp Victory volunteer Jes Sacavage.
